Enhanced Smart Guides

Smart Guides have become more handy, so that you can easily keep a track of spacing and measurements between layer objects. Just press Option key + Drag a Layer and see the reference measurement guides showing the distance between the layers.

Integrated Adobe Typekit Fonts

Now you can easily search and sync different fonts for your Photoshop documents. Just see the live preview of the web based font on your document and sync the appropriate one. It will be saved to your Mac, so that you can use it when you are offline and even with other applications.

Motion Blur Effects

Two new blur effects have been added to the Blur Gallery – Path Blur and Spin Blur. With Path Blur, just create a straight or curved path along which you want to show an object in motion and Photoshop will do the rest. You can also increase or decrease the amount of blurring for your desired effect. You can use the Spin Blur to show a spinning motion in an object, such as a wheel of a car. You can change the angle and amount of blur according to your desired speed.

Focused Area Selection

Now you can easily select the focused area of an image with this new feature of Adobe Photoshop CC 2014. You can save the focused object as a different layer or individual image. It works best when the background of the image is blurred.

Content Aware Tools

Use Content Aware – Fill, Patch, Move or Extend to fill the blank spaces in your image according to the background.
